Agnes Lottie Reasons, 101, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away, Friday, December 15, 2017 at St. Mary’s Manor in Blue Springs, Missouri.
She was born in Elizabeth, Arkansas on June 20, 1916, daughter of the late Nelia Snorah (Haughn) and Elmer Foster. Agnes spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She was united in marriage to the late Rex Kerley in 1932, after his passing she married the late Avis Reasons in Vidette, Arkansas in 1936. Agnes was of the Church of Christ faith. During her working years, she worked at Guys Potato Chips for over 20 years and owned a restaurant in Bakersfield, Missouri. Agnes loved her family, gardening and making decorative hangers for clothes. She had a garden until she was 100 years old.
Agnes is survived by her daughter, Wilma Villines and husband J.C. of Blue Springs, Missouri; ten grandchildren; 18 great - grandchildren and 22 great -great - grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rex Kerley and second husband, Avis Reasons; children, Winston Kerley, Irene Fout and Noel Reasons; parents, Nelia and Elmer Foster; sisters, Bonnie Kerley and Leta Owens and brothers, Garland Foster, B.J. Foster and Emmitt Foster.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Ron Skaggs officiating at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until service time.
Pallbearers include: Nick Blevins, Cody Blevins, Doin Kerley, Wade Kerley, Gary Fout and JW Guffey
