Beverly Ann Chavez

Beverly Ann Chavez, 78, of Salem, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born in Medera, California on May 26, 1943, to Louis Raymond Girton and Lois Sara (Miller) Girton.

She worked as a homemaker. She loved flowers, swimming, and horseback riding. She also loved shopping for others, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was of the Assembly of God faith.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ben Chavez of Salem, Arkansas; children, Denise Baldridge (James) of Lancaster, California, Renee Ensign (Ray) of Independence, Missouri, Kenneth Dehay of Lancaster, California, Robert Silkey of Salem, Arkansas, Eddy Chavez of Rogers, Arkansas; brother, Donald Girton of North Fork, California, along with nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, J.C. Chavez; sisters, Mina Snellings and Rayanna Vanderburgh.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Doty Family Funeral Chapel, 140 North Pickren, Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.
