Bobby Lynn Moss, 64 of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this walk of life on May 24, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Born on December 19, 1961, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, son of the late Jim Bob and Ola Faye (Pierce) Moss. Bobby's life was marked by a deep love for his family and a passion for the simple joys that brought him happiness.
Bobby built a life rooted in dedication and hard work, spending many years operating heavy equipment. Yet, beyond his professional accomplishments, it was his family that held the greatest place in his heart. He was cherished as #1 in the eyes of his grandchildren—a title he carried with pride and tenderness.
An adventurous spirit, Bobby found delight in flying his airplane, the latest hobby he embraced fully. His fascination with anything bearing a motor was a lifelong passion, whether it be the Camaro he built, driving dune buggies, or piloting his plane.
Bobby leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure his memory: his beloved wife, Anita Moss; his daughters, Ashley Thomas of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Summer Smith and husband Rocky of Sturkie, Arkansas; brother, Dennis Moss and wife Rani of Salem, Arkansas. His legacy also shines brightly in the hearts of his grandchildren: Addison Thomas, Jase Thomas, Henley Smith, Stone Smith, and Ridge Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Bob and Ola Faye Moss.
A visitation honoring Bobby's life will be held on May 27, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Tyler Fox officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas.
