Devene Gilbreath

Devene Gilbreath, age 86, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was born on March 20, 1936 in Viola, Arkansas, to Luther and Alpha (Williams) Holstine.  

During her working years, she was a factory worker and then later in life, a caregiver. 

Devene married Ray Gilbreath on December 19, 1953, in Fulton County, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Cleo Holstine, Carmon Holstine, James Holstine, and Joe Holstine; and sister, Joy Lee Baker.

Devene is survived by her husband, Ray Gilbreath of Ash Flat, Arkansas; son, Michael Gilbreath (Lacey) of Hardy, Arkansas; daughter, Teresa Raye Foster (Phillip) of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, brother, J.H. Holstine of Caulfield, Missouri; sisters, Mary Ruth Baker of Elizabeth, Arkansas and Louise Crotts of Mountain Home, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jon Foster (Desiree) of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Ivy Beth Gilbreath, Michael Gilbreath, Jr., and Isabella Gilbreath of Hardy, Arkansas; and great grandchildren, Jaylee Foster and Selena Foster of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, October 17, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Old Baptist Cemetery in Ash Flat, Arkansas.
