Gerald Daniel

Gerald Daniel, 86, of Viola, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He was born in Salem, Arkansas, on January 27, 1937. Gerald was united in marriage to the late Lois (Cantrell) Daniel on June 24, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri. He joined the United States Navy upon completion of high school. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Gerald began working for the Ford Motor Company until his retirement. Gerald enjoyed working on his farm, gardening, riding 4-wheelers and reading western novels by Louis L’Amour. He was a member of Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas.

Gerald is survived by his nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Daniel and his parents.

Pallbearers include: James Cureington, Bob Deathridge, Elwin Wray, Randy Sublett, Gary Williams and Steve Brown.

Graveside services will be Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Flora Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas, beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. John Hodges officiating.
