Gerald Ivey, 75, of Oxford, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Ruston, Louisiana on November 16,1949 to O.C. and Fern (Holtzclaw) Ivey.
Gerald was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing. During his working years he was employed by the Arkansas Department of Corrections in Calico Rock.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Regina Diane Ivey of the home, daughter, Angela (Scott) Garner of Savannah, Tennessee, stepson, Garry Peppers Jr. of Oxford, Arkansas, grandchildren, Sydney (Austin) Duncan of Savannah, Tennessee, Jacqueline Peppers of Barron, Wisconsin, and Seth Garner of Savannah, Tennessee, great granddaughter, Ivey Duncan of Savannah, Tennessee and sisters, Katherine (Hugh) Herrington of Bastrop, Louisiana and Vicki Massengill of Shreveport, Louisiana.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, O.C. and Fern Ivey and brother, Dexter Ivey.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
