Hayden E. Sexton, 100, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, formerly of Byron, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, May 30, 2021in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He was born in Wild Cherry, Arkansas on November 11, 1920, son of the late James Dennis and Ethel Geneva (King) Sexton. Hayden spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, and friend. He served our country in the United States Air Force during World War II. Hayden was a cattle farmer and was still farming at the age of 80. He had over 200 head of cows at age 75. Hayden enjoyed playing dominos and loved baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a great dancer and enjoyed going to the Ozark Mountain Music Makers in Salem. Hayden was a member of Byron Church of Christ and then later in life attended West Road Church of Christ.

Hayden is survived by his daughter, Celeste Sexton and fiancé Daniel Neal of Mountain Home, Arkansas; sisters, Imogene Drown of Kansas and Emolene Moser of Calico Rock, Arkansas and brother-in-law, Charles Cochran of Byron, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Treva Cochran Sexton; 2nd wife, Leah Dene Gifford Sexton; brothers, Sterling Sexton, Olen Sexton and Lowell Sexton and sisters, Mittie Sexton and Veola Sexton.

Pallbearers: James Newman, Marx Price, Tom Newman, Bradley Price, Scott Price, Larry Moser, Jim Moser

Honorary Pallbearers: Lonnie Neal, Daniel Neal, Charles Cochran

Graveside services will be Friday, June 4, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM at Byron Cemetery with Bro. Luell McCutcheon officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:30 PM at Byron Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Doty Family Funeral Service of Salem, Arkansas.
