Heasley, Delson Gaylon

September 26, 1942 - February 6, 2014

Delson Gaylon Heasley, of Salem, son of the late John Ervin Heasley and Vivia Arminta Gilmore Heasley was born September 26, 1942 in Glencoe, AR. He died February 6, 2014 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem at the age of 71 years 4 months and 11 days.

During his working years he was employed as a construction worker, a painter and heavy equipment operator. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include three brothers: Duward Heasley of Paragould, Duron Heasley and wife Corene of Springfield, MO, and Denvard Heasley and wife Beverley of Nixa; one sister, Lodilla Burkhead of Chireno, TX.; his loving caregiver and best friend, Shirley Hammond of Salem, and her family; five nephews, four nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.

Funeral services are Saturday February 15, 2014 at 2 p.m at Cox-Blevins Chapel with visitation starting at 1 p.m. Burial in Morriston Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem. Please sign the guestbook for the family.
