James L.R. Frey, 34 of Salem, Arkansas, left this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Hoxie, Arkansas.

He was born on October 23, 1991, in Turlock, California, son of Christopher Frey and Tammy Hope. James worked in construction. He loved his family especially his sons. James would help anyone if he was able and never met a stranger. He was of the Pentecostal faith and loved the Lord.

Those left to mourn his memory are his wife, Jennifer M. Frey; sons, Waidyn A. Trimmer, Deklyn J. Frey and Jaxton L. Frey all of Salem and Kooper Frey; his mother, Tammy Hope of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; sisters, Miranda (Chris) Parris of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and Tamra Cuyno of Turlock, California; brother, Christopher Frey; uncles, Fredrick (Fred) Frey of Hardy, Arkansas and William (Kenny) Frey of Wynne, Arkansas; aunt, Doreen (Gerald) Patscheck of Wynne, Arkansas and many other extended family members and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Frey; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Tilton Frey Blake; brother, Jacob Frey; uncles, James O. Frey and Robert E. Frey and aunt, Hazel Musick.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
