Jim Bob Moss

Jim Bob Moss, 85, of Wheeling, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at his home in Wheeling. 

He was born in Salem, Arkansas, on August 12, 1938, son of the late Fred and Purlie (Cooper) Moss. Jim was united in marriage to the late Ola Faye Pierce on September 8, 1957, in Hardy, Arkansas. During his working years, Jim was a union traveling electrician. He was a Mason and belonged to Salem and County Line Lodge. Jim enjoyed watching his cows eat grass. He loved his family very much and enjoyed the time he got to spend with them. 

Jim is survived by his sons, Bobby Lynn Moss and wife Anita of Wheeling, Arkansas and Dennis Allen Moss and wife Rani of Wheeling, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ashley Thomas of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Summer Smith (Rocky) of Salem, Arkansas, Brandon Moss (Liz) of Salem, Arkansas, Jordan Svobodny (Max) and Clayton Everett (Sidney) and great grandchildren, Addison, Jase, Henley, Stone, Ridge, Eliza, Breelan, Colsen, Trace, Elliott, Gunner and Trapper. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Faye Moss; parents; sister, Audra Rhoads and brothers, Johnie Moss and Earl Moss. 

Graveside services will be Friday, May 24, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM at Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.
