Lonna Gay Shrable

Lonna Gay Shrable, 63, of Gepp, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, February 9, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. 

She was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on April 27, 1960, daughter of the late James Edward and Augusta Mae (Coggins) Sutterfield. Lonna married the love of her life, Robert Shrable on November 27, 1975, in Moody, Missouri. She spent her life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her three daughters. Lonna loved the Lord, and she always maintained a strong faith in God. She raised her children based on that foundation. Lonna always had a smile on her face and was kind to everyone she met. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren any chance she had. When she was not with the family, she enjoyed crafts and gardening. Lonna always had beautiful flowers all around her home and inside the walls were filled with many good memories. 

Lonna is survived by her husband, Robert Shrable of the home; three daughters, Melissa (Billy) Hargan of Williford, Arkansas, Mendy (Travis) Pearce of Mount Vernon, Arkansas and Augusta (Robert) Lowrie of Viola, Arkansas; grandchildren, Tristan (Emily) Rogers, Kaylee Rogers, Jordan Hargan, Alex Lowrie, Jace Lowrie and Tommy Pearce; three great grandchildren, Clark Puckett, Benjamin Puckett and Alyza Pierce; three brothers, Jimmy Sutterfield of Gassville, Arkansas; Billy (Mary) Sutterfield of Yellville, Arkansas and Randy (Lisa) Sutterfield of Gassville, Arkansas; one sister, Sally Hall of Gassville, Arkansas and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James “Stub” Sutterfield and Bobby Sutterfield; sister, Wanda Sutterfield; brother-in-law, Bob Hall and sister-in-law; Florence Sutterfield.  

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Stan Sutterfield officiating Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Shrable Cemetery in Vidette, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until service time. 

Pallbearers include: B.J. Davis, Bo Davis, Zach Sutterfield, Michael McCalla, Lynn Coggins, Cody Sutterfield and Jimmy Sutterfield, Jr.
