Millie Ida Blalock, 90, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this walk of life on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Salem surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on April 12, 1936, daughter of the late Samuel William and Millie Ida (Hester) Mask. Millie was united in marriage to the late Alce Duaine Blalock February 5, 1955, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. During her working years, Millie was a certified nursing assistant. Millie was a member of New Song Baptist Church in Williford, Arkansas.

Millie is survived by her son, Dennis Wayne Blalock (Mary Ann) of Leachville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Daniel Lee Blalock, Nicholas Alan Blalock, Ashley Nicole Shattuck, Marcus Nathaniel Blalock and Chelsea Dawn Shaver and two great grandchildren, Emerson Wayne Shaver and Addison Clair Shaver.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Blalock; son, Russell Blalock and parents.
