Retha Mae Worsham

Retha Mae Worsham, age 89, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022. She was born on December 24, 1932, in Heart, Arkansas to Thurman Watson Chadwick and Della Mae Weaver.

During her working years she was a nursing aide for 18 years at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas.

Retha married Freeman “LC” Worsham in Wheeling, Arkansas.

Retha enjoyed going out to eat and listening to music. She loved taking care of her daughter.

Retha was a member at Salem Church of Christ in Salem, Arkansas.

Retha is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Freeman “LC” Worsham; and mother-in-law, Nola Stricker.

Retha is survived by her daughter, Melissa June Worsham of Ash Flat, Arkansas; brother, Jim Chadwick of Jacksonville, Arkansas and nieces, Dee Anne Chadwick and Sarah Beth Harvey.

Pallbearers include: Ray Gene Worsham, Rod Baxter, Arthur Harvey, Mike Dover, Keith McHenry and Donnie Lance

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Mike Yates officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
