William "Bud" Edward Wells

William “Bud” Edward Wells, 64, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, in Salem.

He was born in Newport, Arkansas on August 20, 1955, son of the late Edward and Bertha Marie (Gatley) Wells. Bud spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, uncle and friend. He was united in marriage to Kathleen Jane Stroud on July 6, 1990 in Gum Springs, Arkansas. During his working years, Bud worked as a truck driver and for the nursing home. He was of the Christian Faith. Bud loved to hunt, fish, travel the countryside and watch wrestling on tv. He loved his mother-in-law, Lavern Stroud; sisters-in-law, Barbara, Betty and Wanda and many friends.

Bud is survived by his wife, Kathleen Wells of Salem, Arkansas; sisters, Rhoda, Wilma, Mary Frances and Judy and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bertha Wells and sister, Lottie.

Private graveside services will be held.
